Sales Account Executive

  • Demonstrate excellent selling skills and grow Maxta’s customer base and revenue
  • Be able to manage and balance commercial and named account opportunities
  • Exceed all quarterly and annual quotas
  • Be a true team player, leveraging and sharing best practices with other team members
  • Develop winning sales campaigns for new target accounts, as well as a GTM strategy for regional channel partners
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of customers’ business drivers and use this knowledge to steer the activities for creating profitable business
  • Maintain and develop regular, trusted, senior level relationships with customers and partners
  • Identify and address areas for performance improvement to ensure the team is the best it can be
  • Represent Maxta professionally at industry events


  • 3+ years of outstanding track record in sales
  • 3+ years experience in selling solutions to medium/large enterprises
  • Domain expertise in one or all of these areas: storage, networking, and/or virtualization
  • Technical and business credibility when interfacing with all areas of a prospect
  • Ability to handle both the sales and technical aspects of most initial customer calls
  • Proven hunter and closer
  • Creative thinker and problem solving
  • Enjoys working in a team environment and being part of a fast growing company
  • Motivated self starter, with outstanding work ethic
  • Excellent business presentation skills including strong oral and verbal communication
